A Special Welcome to our New Visitors!!! Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site, please read on and learn more about Bark River Racing!!
Bark River Racing has made some changes for 2008-2009 - the web site has a new look, Andrew has returned full time, we have many returning sponsors as well as a couple new ones, and we are announcing that beginning in the fall we will be opening Bark River Racing and Rides! We are excited about our changes and look forward to all the challenges they may bring!!
Rest assured, Bark River Racing is not changing its focus completely. We will continue to race competitively, in races such as: the Iditarod, the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, the White Oak Classic and the UP200. We will also continue our very successful educational program, as we have worked diligently to connect with area elementary schools , treasure the relationships we have made with our areas youth, and look forward to initiating new relationships in the future.
Mission Statement
Bark River Racing Kennel will strive to be a positive, effective ambassador for the sport of mushing. Our goal is to encourage and nurture those new to the sport, to treat both canine and human competitors fairly, and to be good stewards of all the blessings that God has given us.
